"SAN FRANCISCO - Apple Inc. is cutting the price of some songs in its market-leading iTunes online music store to 69 cents and plans to begin selling all tracks without copy protection.

Okay, so, being in the same boat as you as a DJ, I didn't really have any trouble with the encoding until I bought the iDJ2. Suddenly, stuff wasn't showing up when I needed it. Also, I do mixes in ACID, and sometimes ACID woulnd't read a song. I later resolved the iDJ2 issue another way (I think) but in any event for general use like what you do yoo want to get NoteBurner ( ... )
