Ok so i just finished watching Lost Season 3 and i r a bit annoyed and frustrated, i know there will be 8 seasons and season 4 is due to air the start of Feb in the US but this leaves a few questions unanswered...

1. Why are nearly all the characters only ever concerned about the 'others' and their friends situation when captured and/or confronted ( Read more... )

umm not really mate its an evolving story line being driven by the people that watch it, the difference is these are lazy workers not over worked workers ;)

I don't really care - it's all about the journey, maaaaan. (unless my theory of experimental virtual group therapy turns out to be true).

oh and eye-candy. Let's not forget the eye candy. And great characters. I love Locke (as a character, not eye-candy).

Great characters? well imo they all started off well but they all trailed off into wussy annoyingness with the exception of some of the core characters like Charlie, Locke, Sayid, Desmond, Hurly who have been consistently the best throughout, Kate was the biggest disappointment she started well and by mid season 2 degenerated ionto a tright annoying wench, almost as annoying as that bird from The Da Vinci code, but not quite

Not seen the Da Vinci code but I know what you mean :) I guess the good characters are enough for me to overlook the annoying ones, and all the flashbacks and dilemmas etc. work for me - perhaps it's a chick thing, appealing to the same parts of the girl brain as soaps (though I hasten to add I only watch one of them. The one with the eye-candy.)

Thanks for the links!!

It`s been ages since I finished series one which I borrowed from a friend but had difficulties finding series two - this should keep me nice, busy and warm at home for some time:)

Can borrow the dvd set of series one again if you need...or even just the last disk
