I don't approve of McSpace either.
I'm pretty sure no one does.

Nor do we approve of the Life on Mars remake.

Ah yeah the LOM remake. Are any of the original writers behind it? Obviously it won't be the same cast, and am guessing it won't be set in Manchester either.
