So the Torchwood screening was great. I really liked the first part so am hopeful for the 5 parter. Had a sense of realism but still with the tongue in cheek humour. I think it might benefit from a continuing storyline rather than new stories each ep. We shall see. Russell T, Eve Myles, and John Barrowman were very entertaining in the Q&A which

I have been away from my TOS Season 1 DVDs for only 2 days and I MISS THEM SO MUCH. It's become my evening relaxation. And now I'm home until Thursday and there is no TOS. I bored my parents with Star Trek talk, it was amusing. I think they are resigned to my love :D Still, there may be no TOS, but I am vvv excited about the meet! I should make a post later this evening, or early tomorrow if I fall asleep tonight - 5 hours of train travel. BAH.

So much Shatner Nimoy love :D I have taken to squealing and clapping when there is a vaguely slashy moment. My housemates must think I am mad...

Torchwood sounds good as well - when's it showing on telly?

Torchwood - air date not released yet but it is this summer http://www.bbc.co.uk/torchwood/ I don't think they were allowed to tell us - under wraps by the BBC.

TOS is brilliant. :D The more I watch also the more I appreciate how the movie picked up the best bits of all the characters and ran with it in a brilliant way with added bonus lens flare of course ;)

Yeah I think maybe you would. But hey never force a fandom on someone its guaranteed to be disliked then! Did you see the movie though? Shame Pegg didn't get more scenes but the one's he gets with Nimoy = major win in my book :)

I used to love Shine before it was used on the bloody Morrisons advert. Now it just makes me think of Denise Van Outen and Richard Hammond buying their FRESH cream cakes and FRESH fish and FRESH bread. Gaah.

Oh I am so jealous you got to go to the Torchwood Q&A! Lucky you! I'm looking forward to the new series.
