Oh I laughed hard several times at tonight's episode of Ashes to Ashes - mainly at Gene, but also Chris and Alex. ( minor spoilers ahead )

Someone on the A2A community (cuz I'm bad and read spoilers even though I haven't watched it - I hate surprises XD) said...

A tyler is a mason in charge of guarding the doors of a masonic lodge, which is what Ray was acting as during Gene's initiation. A happy coincidence that it's Sam's surname.

But hmm, I'm not sure if I believe it's JUST that...

that definition is correct and fits in with what happens in the episode as a stand alone but I'm secretly hoping it means something else. If it was Russell T. writing you so know it would mean something else. We'll see, could be nothing but I hope not :P
