For this day I give huge thanks to swankyfunk for acting as a guide for me and Phil and taking us to some rather awesome places to spend our money and eat-a-plenty. These pics really make me want to start planning an NYC trip as soon as money allows. Looks like so much fun.

The funny thing? The Staten Island ferry always reminds me of Sisters, Margot's DePalma film.

I've seen clips but never the full movie *hangs head i shame* Staten island Ferry is a must to include on a trip - why its taken me so long I don't know.

Oh, the film is definitely worth it, if only to see her that young. She's excellent as the twins. :D And I'll take your word for it, although I'm thinking I'll find out for myself at some point in the future. :D

Yay! These made me relive the day all over again.

Can't believe we all ate that much food at Max Brenner's! Sooo good. Oh that reminds me, how did the syringe of chocolate get through the trip?

Those subway-hat pics are cracking me up... XD

oh yeah! the syringe survived the journey across the pond and was eaten by work colleagues :) I love the subway pics - spontaneous but fun - sums up the mood of the whole day :D

Haha great pics! We *definitely* hit some major Pegg Pavement there!

I mostly remember stuff on the US extended version of the Fuzzball Rally. Can't remember how much time was spent on it, but I definitely remember Nick playing with the sirens and Edgar doing a split on the ground floor (I remember the floorboards -- possibly it was right outside the men's room). Makes me want to go back and check right now.

I so wish you could've been with us - especially at the NYPD museum - we'd of cracked ourselves up something silly.

Phil's a work colleague and a friend, lovely guy - a tad eccentric - even he says he is but a harmless one. He and Comran in the office are the only two people I can geek about Doctor Who with at work so yay for that!
