So today was all about meeting swankyfunk but not until the evening so the rest of the day was spent getting the most out of our touristy tickets. Phil decided to buy a ticket for the helicopter tour. I decided against it - for one it was expensive $100+ , secondly I've seen Superman The Movie too many times to want to get in a helicopter to see the NYC

OMG, I giggled like a fiend looking at these pics! I soooo want to get the chance to go to NYC, just so I can get chance to see these places in person!

"Harry!!!" ;) *snort* I've been numerous times. Its my home away from home. You know I studied at the University at Albany for a year right? (Upstate New York, and my choice had NOTHING to do with the fact that I knew that it was the political capital of the state where a certain Mr Reeve was often active on behalf of his charity and might if I'm really really lucky give a speech nearby I could go to. Pfff. Actually my reasons were far more boring, and I did get to see him :D). I cannot describe the feeling I get when I'm in NYC. I'm still astounded at the size of the skyscrapers. And actually, at the top of the Empire State building I'm thinking if its this windy up here at this height - flying with Superman at this height surely would feel like a hurricane Miss "Can You Read My Mind" Lane :P ;) And my second thought is looking down the side of a skyscraper, 'Hi there. Something wrong with the elevator?' *DORK*

Okay, I will have you know that after looking at these pics, I pulled Anissa aside last night and told her that I was finally open to us going to NYC to see her Aunt Patty later in the year if the money's available. I think you just made my girl's year with these pics. I'm sold, once and for all.
