Tintin and Spidey

So apparently it is Tintin's 80th birthday tomorrow. Whilst I'm obviously curious about the movie, I have to admit my memories of Tintin are more of annoyance than anything - this isn't Tintin's fault - it's just I remember as as kid it was hard for me to get hold of Superman comics in the village with a rubbish newsagent. *weee* ahhh Hot Fuzz - so much joy from a movie :) I grew up in a village much like Sandford so a lot of it rings true :)

Both Carter and Reagan were in comics both Marvel and DC.

DC didn't do a whole lot of stuff like that before the Crisis as far as I know. Reagan was featured prominently during the LEGENDS even from 1986 and was in the Batman books as well. He was referred to during ADVENTURES OF SUPERMAN ANNUAL #1 but never shown.
