Had a great time at The Isles 2: Purgatory Station's campaign opener. So great that I'm still recovering. I crawled out of bed to go to the Book Expo of America today, but otherwise am not capable of a whole lot of being upright. I mean, the game didn't blow my mind or anything, but in terms of what the Isles 1 tried to do, I think the game has ( Read more... )

Sounds great.

I'd consider coming to NPC once or twice and to help with the ride back.

That would be awesome. I'm not sure how things run in NPC camp, but I do know you would get a lot of roleplaying roles rather than crunching because the wild animals rarely attack the town. There's probably a CP swap with Aralis, but you'll want to check with Dave about that.

...I quit Aralis, as a PC anyway.

But yeah. Cool.

I leave later in the summer, obviously, so if you want to come June 24th ... think about it. Also I think NPCing costs $20 because of food costs, but I've been told the food is actually really good. And the camp has showers.

Awesome character and such.
If my life is ever bereft of gaming, I shall check out The Isles.

Do you have a good mudra resource? There are a lot of crappy ones online, but I'd love a more complete reference..

That's what I was using. Picked it up in an Indian bookstore in Manhattan. And believe it or not, it actually helps my nausea and sleep. I would have given ANY amount of money to bet it wouldn't!

As I've been doing more and more hatha yoga, I have found that my practice really drastically improves when the instructor specifically instructs us to use this mudra, or that drishti (point of focus/concentration), or a certain kind of breath. I'm not surprised really. The subtle body is awesome.

I'm not a fan of yoga. I have been trying to meditate every day, but I'm very bad at it. I can only keep it up for like, 10 minutes, more if I'm listening to music.

You should really play this game. It would be totally awesome to have anyone know what I was talking about in the game. But you are busy and stuff. And also it would be awesome to see you regularly.
