There was hardly any room to write why I thought so: So I'm finishing it here!
She SO should finish it because
1# her sister is paying good money 2# We all are imploring her 3# Its so good it would be a real shame and a waist of paper, pencil and time previously spent not to finish it And....and....it JUST NEEDS to be FINISHED OFF PROPERLY!
I think the humble pirate deserves a second eye. ;)
I left a comment in the poll even though I didn't say "most definitely"
Now, behold my reasoning. As you know, I started that picture, and then didn't finish it. a few months ago, I decided to finish it but when I tried - I don't know, maybe I was having a bad day, or maybe I just wasn't trying - the eye I hadn't done came out all wrong. Now I can rub it off properly, and I know from experience that once you've drawn something, doing it again doesn't help. I mean, you can do it on another piece of paper - and that usually works - but if you try go over your previous drawing, you get too distracted by the old lines and it doesn't work.
To finish what I tried to say in the comment, except that I didn't have enough room, I don't want to do it for the same reason I don't do lots of things - if you don't start you can't fail.
I'm in a grumpy mood. Really, really, really. I think you know why, Bettany...or can guess, at any rate.
My only hope now is in my friends, who are all going to leave wonderful postive comments so that TAS no longer ticks you off, and you FINSIH MY PICTURE!!!
(Oh, and I don't want to preasure you by the way!!! ;-P)
Well I would say most definitely (it is a great picture!) except that if your artist sister is anything like my artist sister she wouldn't like being told to finish it/would insist it couldn't be done.:-D
Well, I'm of the opinion that he looks wonderfully unique minus the eye. After all - art is supposed to be unique is it not? The artist should be free to do what they like ;) My sister is brilliant at sketching too & she *hates* being told how to do her work ;) Good job Fran :)
*sigh* All these people in no way supporting me! What has happened to the thing called friends?!
:-P
He does look unique, and I laughed at your speel:-) But you know where the problem lies? She wont let me hang it on the wall even, 'cause she doesn't like it unfinished, so it's not even as if we can accept dear ol Jack as normal with his one eye. Afterall, we shouldn't be discriminating against one-eyed-ness should we now?! :-)
