Kitty was rather surprised to hear from Percy, she'd been distinctly awkward in their last conversation, and hadn't quite figured out how to broach any conversation right now. Well, it was complicated. She answered her door after quickly running her hand through her hair and attempting to look a little presentable.

"Percy? Afternoon." She wasn't sure what else to say right now.

Needless to say, Percy noticed the slight flustered appearance of his good friend Kitty when the door was finally answered. "Afternoon!" he cried, tipping his hat to her politely. "If it is not too much of a bother, I wondered if you'd enjoy some company. Sink me, it has been some time since I've seen you!"

She nodded and stood aside to let him in, "No, absolutely, I could do with some company." She wasn't lying, either, but she wasn't entirely comfortable with it either. It was awkward and such.

"I confess, I have missed seeing you. It has been what seems to me like a long while!" He was unusually bubbly, as if trying to make up for the uneasiness of the encounter. Percy wished this wasn't so. "I thought..." He nodded his head towards the street.

"Oh, never mind." He smiled genially and stepped inside her home, removing his hat and gloves and setting aside his cane.
