A Call for Artists, Actors, and Amateurs of Both Varieties!
Lud love us, we are without a theatre troupe of any kind. The horror! The inhumanity! It must be remedied, good neighbours, for only le bon Dieu knows we need a bit more amusement in this place. I call for a company to be formed with the expressed purpose of putting on plays and other

So she showed up in front of the castle at the appointed time.

I should be absolutely delighted to lend any assistance I can. I'll see you at the appointed time and place.
-Una
Una actually showed up a little earlier than the appointed time, the better to have a chance to talk to Percy a bit beforehand.

Ods my life, I am grateful! I shall see you then.
Percy
Percy was busy scribbling away when Una appeared. He lifted his head and smiled happily, albeit with a faint hint of exhaustion. "Una, m'dear!" He rose and bowed, then began to look for a chair. "Glad to see you, terribly glad. You can help with the auditions. Wouldn't be fair if I were the only judge."

So she showed up at the castle, script in hand, looking from side to side.

He waved his hands towards the steps that would lead up to the stage. "What is your name, Miss? And if you would be so kind, please take the stage and tell us what you'll be preforming, loud and clear-like."
Reply
When he told her to get on the stage, she did, giving everyone a little smile. "Hello! For those who didn't hear, I'm Rukia Kuchiki, and I'll be performing Lady Macbeth's monologue from Act 1, Scene 5 of ... is it okay to say the name? Ichigo gets very upset when you say the name but I've always thought it was kind of a silly superstition."
Reply
"Gad, no," he gasped, then laughed loudly with good humour. "Superstitions are never silly if one believes in them! Zounds, my dear, but I think since we are not preforming the play you may say the name, and what a good choice too, might I add." Percy motioned for her to continue on, sitting down and starting up at the young lady with an encouraging smile.

I do take it this means I don't have to audition. Because before I got your letter, I was going to anyway. You didn't even need to ask. I was actually planning something similar myself, but Shakespeare sounds like wonderful fun.
I shall see you at the Castle, then?
Kit.
For a second there, she was tempted to sign it with her proper name, in a moment of passive honesty. But that would not do.

It means you wouldn't have to audition, exactly. I wouldn't ask a proper actor to audition when, in actuality, I'm the one who could use the help. Una informed me that you were thinking of some-sort of stage show beforehand - I count my timing very lucky indeed!
At the castle, sir.
Sir Percy

I still would have obliged you if you'd asked. But I'd be most pleased to help, I'll be there very shortly.
Kit
She was there as fast as the circumstances could allow and found Percy quickly, with a ready smile, as she wasn't the only one acting today, and it was actually a relief to be doing some proper acting for once. "Hello there."

Sir Percy,
Thank you for your note. I do appreciate it. I look forward to auditioning, will you be directing it? I must say, a truly inspired idea.
Yours lovingly,
Marguerite Blakeney
Marguerite worried about how to sign it, twisting the paper about in her hands for sometime. Trying to put those feelings aside, she made her way towards the stage, her head held high.

I shall be directing the little number, though I doubt I'll be acting. Could act for a spell, od's my life!
You wouldn't need to audition, having known of your previous experience.
Fondly,
Sir Percy
The letter made his breath catch in his throat, but all emotion was swallowed down when his wife made her approach. He stood, and he bowed politely. "Mademoiselle St Just," Percy said respectfully, his head still inclined.
