A letter! From someone not trying to educate him! Now this was what Shaun called postal service. It was, in fact, the postal equivalent of Gadget throwing rocks at his window to get him to come out for a little dressing up and wanton destruction. Except this was more wanton destruction and less dressing up, but he was quite happy with that.

So, he scribbled off a reply. There was only one pirate here, so it must be Barbossa.

I'm coming. Wait...where am I coming to? But I'll be there. Do I get a sword, or should I bring a plank of sorts? Sure I can find one.

New Orleans Square, lad. There is only one place that would house Old Scratch and ye shall see what I mean when ye get here.

Barbossa scratched his chin and added hastily,

I'll give ye a damn sword.

With this, Shaun threw down his pad of paper and pen, pulled on his dockers and laced them loosely, then dashed off to the Square. He didn't know what Old Scratch was, but he was getting a sword. He had no idea how to use one, but it was quite possibly the best idea he'd heard in months.

He stood around in the Square for a second or two, before calling out, "Hey, Captain?!" He pronounced it properly, possibly as his dad always had a certain amount of dicipline in his accent, when it came to talking about the army. "I'm here..." He better not have abandoned him.

Barbossa sat waiting for Shaun to arrive outside of the entrance to the Pirates of the Caribbean ride. There was a frown plastered on his salty old face, though a small look of triumph flashed in his eyes when he passed his cutlass back and forth between hands. Reckless destruction was good for calming the rage in his belly.

"'lo, Shaun!" He got to his feet and hailed down the boy before he was able to start further into the square. "O'er here, boy!" He stuck his cutlass into the side of the building, leaving it jutting out of the edifice like a harpooned whale, and crossed his arms while he waited for Shaun to approach. There was that annoying melody faintly playing on a loop in the background. "Well, lad?"
