She'd brought it on herself.
Not that it was the fairest logic, of course, but he wasn't really interested in logic at the moment. Not when there was something in this place that could see into his mind as though it were made of crystal and cellophane. Fairness didn't really being to apply then, he decided, but that didn't change the fact that she wasn't expecting it.
So he could almost feel sorry for her when she knocked on his door this time around. He had actually considered not opening it, letting her think he was dealing with the Doctor all day, completely indisposed. Letting her go back to her tent, have yet another chance to wonder why this continued when she knew it couldn't end well. Let her go for one blessed day.
He had never been that kind. He wasn't about to start now.
The first he noticed when he dragged her inside, slammed the door and pressed her up against it was... the clothes. Oh, it had been so hard not to start laughing at that, to let that be the last straw on his sanity and give over to wherever his mind had been steadily retreating to. But he kept the sound at nothing more than a hum, stood his ground because he wanted this now, or he'd never be able to hold himself together. He just had to be certain to remove clothing carefully this time around.
And if he was just a tad more unpredictable than usual, a bit wild-eyed, rougher and less forgiving for what was handed back to him... well, she would never tell, now would she?
When it was over -for now-, he pulled her to the bed without a word and lay back. He couldn't blame her for enjoying the comfort of a mattress when she didn't have one herself, and maybe that was part of the reason why they always seemed to end up there, no matter where they started out in the room. He shut his eyes for a moment and didn't let his mind wander. There had to be enough focus left to at least allow him that.
ETA: Er... yeah, you guys know the drill. >.< Getting a little disturbing, so I'm throwing this up just to be safe. Don't know why I bother being surprised anymore. *le sigh*
Harry ETA and the Chamber of You-Don't-Wanna-Know: Yeah, so we've not got the scary going so much now, but it's gotten fairly explicit, so let's say R rating, and leave it at that.
