Leon frowned at the letter. Well, at least it wasn't Kohaku who wanted to join the police force. He wasn't overly fond of the dragon.
He'd be wary about accepting some who was apparently illiterate, but Carrot had some of the worst spelling Leon had ever seen, and yet, as far as Leon could see, he was also one of the best officers he had seen.
Kohaku,
I can meet him at any time that's convenient for him.
-Chief Leon Orcot
He smiled cheerfully down at the 'chief,' and then went to mail the letter.
Are you doing anything in particular at this time? Barnabas is usually near the teacups ride in Fantasyland, and I have no doubt he would be delighted to have company at any point. As I understand, someone quite important to him is one of the people who have gone missing. I can alert him if you wish to go over soon.
- Kohaku
Well, if the dragon had known that, he might have tried to join just to irritate the man.
He checked himself in the mirror before he left the apartment, lit a cigarette, and headed towards the teacups.
He sighed as he headed over, remembering Kohaku's first letter. If this fellow was a friend of D, chances are, Leon wasn't going to like him. D had the worst taste in friends...
There was no-one near the teacups except a large grey dog, vaguely german shepherd-ish in breed. Upon noticing Leon, the animal walked up slowly, sat down perhaps a few paces away, and said, "Chief Orcot? Did you get Kohaku's letter?"
