It will be interesting to see what changes King Charles will make within the monarchy and royal family. I taped the funeral. I look forward to watching it when I get a moment.
Didn't know the casket was lead-lined. WOW! The casket bearers did a great job didn't they. Always a fear that one might falter and send all of them flying. Thankfully that didn't happen. What an honor for them, though, to carry the Queen's casket at her funeral.
I was holding my breath too. I found the service at St George's Chapel quite moving, especially the historic rituals toward the end. I was watching in Australia at the same time as my brother and sister were watching in England, together despite the miles between us. It's quite profound to think how many were united in watching that event.
