I'm so sorry for the impending loss of someone so wonderful and much loved. I think the living wake is a wonderful idea.

Thank you. He's fought so bravely for so long, it's offensive to think he's coming to the end of the road.
We made sure he knows he's loved and cherished.

I'm so sorry to hear about your friend, Steve, and I think a living wake is a wonderful idea. I love Mr D's "If this is to be the Parrot's end, then we will make it such an end as to be worthy of remembrance!!" and the parrot you got for Steve. *hugs*
