Okay, I've been keeping an eye on this meme across my friends feed, and I've enjoyed looking back over fics I've read, and ones I've missed, so I've decided to take a brief hiatus from 100 Days of Happiness to do my own 7 days of Self-promotion

Yes, I've been watching you guys doing it and I thought it looked fun. I was thinking of waiting until the 100 days meme was over but I thought, nah, since when have I ever done patience?

Thank you - I'm really glad you like it.
I look back on my old stories now and I can see parts where I hadn't got the boys characters right (more often than not Sam is too soppy), and there were also a few stray Brit-isms creeping in, but the whole four years I've been writing fanfic has been a fabulous, wacky learning curve, and I wouldn't change a thing!

I loved this, so funny and sweet too! I think you got the boys just right, i loved how dean was so compliant and quiet when on the painkillers, then became his usual stubborn, foul-mouthed and bad-ass self! Bobby was great here too and I loved this line...

' Bobby clamped a hand on his arm; "Don't", he said urgently, "There's a sulk in there, and it ain't pretty".'

Dean scaling himself with hot coffee rather than waiting for help was so typically Dean but I did wince in sympathy after laughing! And his underlying need to be taken care of was very touching. The ending was perfect too - more chick flick moments!

I'm really glad you liked it, it was such an early story and I was still finding the boys' 'voices' at that stage :)

Oh, I absolutely loved this. Hadn't seen it before, so thanks for sharing again. I loved the brotherly banter (and love) back and forth. Something that is desperately missing from the show right now. We all do need to have and experience a little TLC from our loved ones, despite our claims to be different. So cool about the payback. Now Dean can have a few more weeks of "the touch" that he found himself enjoying.

I'm thrilled you liked it, I had fun writing it, but when I read it back now, I'm so aware that I hadn't quite got the boys' voices completely right then!
