Jensen made some tantalising speculation at JIB, but ultimately, at this point, he doesn't know any more than we do. It's going to be a long hellatus!

I have finally caught up. I too am excited by the story possibilities opened up by Demon!Dean. I did not see this coming, though his death was pretty much a given for weeks.

I'm going to gout on a limb and speculate that Cas will use up the last of his grace trying to save Dean and will be forced to steal more, die, or get his own back from Metatron (what did he do with it anyway?)
