MIlly wasn't very well, so she and Steve headed off after the ceremony. We had a little catch up, but it would have been lovely to spend more time. Hopefully we can find a reason to catch up again soon!
What a lovely day! So wonderful to see Sam and his bride so happy, and to see JJ remembered. The wedding cake is amazing. Is the tree theme also a nod toward June's memorial, or are the two unrelated?
I think the tree/blossom theme on the cake was more the Japanese link for Yuki's side of the family, but it works just as well for June as her tree is a flowering cherry with pink blossoms :)

So happy for Sam. What a lovely day. I'm sure June was there enjoying the festivities along with everyone else.
Oh the tree is growing so nicely. Is there a plaque by the tree or anything?
