You can host up to 1000 pics on Flickr for free and their HTML code is easy to use on posts here.

I was going to say the same as amberdreams has. I'm presently using a free Flickr account, and hoping that the war will end and sanctions will be lifted before I reach the one-thousand-photo limit. However, if that fails to transpire and we haven't all been incinerated by then, I suppose I'll be able to set up another Flickr account using a different e-mail address.

By default, Flickr image URLs are set to display the images at 1024 pixels wide, which I find ideal for posting on LJ.
