I thought Rataouille was spectacular... and I wasn't even super-excited to see it ( Read more... )

Oh wow I totally want to see Rataouille! As for the Transformer, I sort of want to wait for it to come out on DVD but then again, maybe you need to see it on the big screen with the big sounds.

Oh and I still totally need to see Babette's Feast. I love food movies. (i.e. "Big Night", etc.)

I love Ratatouille so much that I saw it twice already :-) Like you, I was amazed with the quality of the animation. There's this little bookstore next to the theatre that carried the book, "The Art of Ratatouille,". Needless to say, I bought a copy just to see how the artists put this all together. I'm in awe...

I loved both movies. They made up for the crapfest that was "Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer".

I was particularly disturbed by the ending scene in Ratatouille when all the rats came on screen. One rat = cute. A swarm of rats = gross.

I'm so glad you liked it. Every time I hear from someone who loved the movie as much as I did it makes me grin. It's going to become a classic.

Ratatouille++++++++++

LOVED IT! Best pixar (almost*) EVAR.

* Finding Nemo gets that, but not for the movie, but because it was the first movie I took my then 3-year old son to, and at the end, he looked at me and said, "I'm glad you are my daddy." So, Ratatouille is a DISTANT second, and will never win.
