Cashflow

Bloody hell the last two months have been spendy! All the family birthdays apart from mine, plus new glasses for Muriel, a painting from an artist friend, and now glasses for Kelvin. Hopefully the poor vision was also the cause of his headaches, so fingers-crossed they'll stop now.

Can the spending stop now please?

2 business trips (still waiting for reimbursement), spring dues at the yacht club (i.e. half a year's rent in one fell swoop), a new dock box, mailbox renewal, shade cloth for burning man, X's RESP contribution, some of T's moving expenses, turkey hunting seminar, gear, training, and rental car, and my income taxes (of which virtually nothing was withheld last year). Fortunately, I saw _some_ of this coming, and know that the CRA charges less interest than the credit cards, so...

I've really got to shuffle around the timings on some of my recurring expenses so that I don't take an almost-$20k hit like this ever again.

Oh, and I forgot the insurance renewal on the boat too.

Okay okay, you win ;) Although it looks like you were expecting most of it, I certainly wasn't expecting to have to pay ~$1100 on specs... :-/

Yeah, I had a big fat pile of cash saved up for the taxes and that was most of it; T's moving expenses OTOH, no such luck (and enough to put a goodly dent in the pile of tax cash).

The one we bought isn't on that page unfortunately, but he did a series of old-fashioned chrome microphones and we got one of those, in a very golden chrome colour on a vibrant blue background. Not sure if you'll be able to see it, but there's a picture of it here: http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=12212146410&set=a.12212076410.40296.654671410&type=1
