So I received two emails from LJ today, both of them automated it seems. The first one was letting me know that the automated payment for my paid account failed to go through. I could tell it was an automated email from the way it was formatted and how the "reason" for failure was sitting off on its own in a blockquote style. The reason for failure ( Read more... )

user icons will remain, just won't be accessable until you have a paid account (I've been an off-and-on paid account on a rotating basis)... I'd assume most of the other paid member benifits will follow suit; frozen and unusable until paid status is restored, but the data and settings will remain in place.

I am aware of that. The concern is that the number of user icons I could have was partially determined by the number of months of paid time I'd had continuously, but with this break is service I do not know if I'll have the same number of icons available again once I get this mess sorted out, or if I'll be cut back to the standard starting block of new paid users again. I don't want to have to pay for the user picture add on to regain all the icons I'd had when I was supposed to have uninterrupted paid service.

the way it was written up at the time they should freeze just like everything else.
