1. Spinning around in circles hanging on to that rope under the nickel bridge, freezing our butts off in the fall river, PKs fake birthday picnic and your Indian food, going to that island with the Pawpaw fruit and feeling like pirates. 2. Try listening to The Avalanches, DJ Shadow, and Hot Chip. I don't think you like hiphop, but those are woth listening to. 3. Dark grey 4. You do your best at everything you do (and do very very well) 5. That Optimist Club or whatever it was called speech thing we did on patriotism and loyalty to our country. You told me you went to Albert Hill and played the flute. I was so jealous of your speech, it was so articulate and amazing and if you hadn't gone over time, you surely would have won first place. 6. a koala bear 7. I can't think of anythiing meaningful. I'll have to gte back to you on that. Until then, do you think I'm too much of a music snob? Do I put people down? Though I suppose that should be focused on you. Hmm. Here's one: what worries you about college and getting older?
i actually do like some hip hop, but i'm incredibly picky about what i like and if i don't like something and am forced to listen to it, i go crazy. but that happens most often with bad r & b...
i really wish i had a copy of that speech... but as far as i know, it is lost to time.
for college... i'm really worried about having to deal with drinking and the use of drugs without ostracizing the people whose habits/choices i don't agree with... for getting older, i'm worried about losing the abilities that i hold dear. i already feel that i've lost a lot of my vocal/acting/motivation/learning/social ability since freshman year. at least, that's what comes to mind. there's probably a huge list of fears that i haven't thought about yet...
i was kidding! and now, ladies and gentlemen, flora spins a given topic and sends it flying miles away from its intended purpose. not the best speech ever, but not horribly bad for... what was it?... seventh grade? eighth grade
( ... )
this is uninvited, but sometimes you do put people down, even if you don't mean to. just because other people are different doesn't mean they are worthless.
