i picked up some trial felt today and a few cheap buttons. as soon as i've gotten somewhere (fh's folks are coming up tomorrow so i'm frantically trying to get our apt clean) i'll post pics.
Thanks! 2 hours of looking last night didn't get me anywhere near this close.
hi there! I am princess lasertron and I just wanted to let you know that if you would like to work with me, I am able to accomodate almost any budget. A lot of brides ask me to use their own personal items like family heirlooms, or their own buttons and felt that they supply. I just wanted to let you know that if you'd like to look into some of those options, you can e-mail me at princesslasertron@gmail.com or see some other things I have done at my website, http://www.princesslasertron.com. I'd love to work with you or give you some pointers.
right now, i'm trying to get something in real life to show my parents. they're skeptical of the whole felt flowers thing. Once we've fought it out, er, compromised on what we're doing, I'll start looking at having others make it.
Well it's great that you're considering it. I think (in my experience, anyway) that alternatives to flowers are one of the easiest "non traditional" things to get more traditional families on board with. Here are a few pictures of what other brides have done--a lot of them are very offbeat but many of them seem traditional otherwise.
