yeah, i debated between buying matte or just using the gloss, but economy was the decider so i used what i had on hand and it turned out well, i think.

i might scan the paper that i used to make the paper strips. you might get some insight as to what paper patterns are good to use. the pink in the green and pink beads is actually from a pink marker tip pen i used to draw the lines.
