fur around the hood

does anyone have a tutorial on how to put fur around the outside of a hoodie's hood?

here's an example of what i want to do.

im sorry that i cant be of much help, but your icon is incredible. seriously.

if its just a trim, what i do is i buy the fake fur that comes as like 4 or 5 inches wide and i just fold it in half (long ways) with one half on the outside and one half on the inside and then sew it straight across on the edge
