my favorite line was "he should have known the butcher would take mike's side about this because he's a drummer; he understands the necessity to bang everything and anything that stands still for a long enough time, he doesn't understand the fragility of strings and slow strums." just so wonderfully witty without being over the top.

you know i wrote that line specifically for you, and i promise you that bacon will be consumed before this whole thing is over, maybe by william, maybe by mike, maybe by both of them, who knows? it is your incessant insistence that made me finish this anyway so really, everything is because of you and people should applaud you and fall at your feet. i love and adore you and i am going to write you fics you can enjoy that won't scar you!
