Louis steps in out of nowhere, puts a hand on her back, and kisses her cheek.

"Hello, Alex. It has been far too long."

Louis is grinning and glowing a bit more than usual, and there is a ring on his left hand now.

He looks Innocent.

"And what were you referring to, dear Alex?"

There may be a slight twinkle.

She laughs again and shakes her head.

"You're a lovely old man."

"I do my best."

Still Smiling.

She giggles and puts her arm around him before leaning into his side.

"Comfy too."

[mellowout_]

"Yes. Peter sleeps in my lap in his cat form a great deal of the time now."

He snuggles up. Warm and safe and loving.

She smiles.

"That's good. Always good for people to be comfortable. S'part of my problem with how people've done things. Lots of comforts and no one's comfortable."

"People are restless by nature. They get nervous when they are too comfortable."

"It's sorta sad, but I guess it's for the best."

She smirks.

"Besides, you and I are comfortable enough for all of em."

"Yes. It is a difficult Task."

He snuggles closer.

She snorts and shakes her head, pulling him close.

"You bet."

She turns her head to look him in the face.

"So when you going to tell him what all this means then?"

"I have begun that already. Bits and pieces. He knows who I am now for the most part. I'm keeping us at Home until it is all sorted between us."

He smiles softly.

"I have never taken anyone Home before."

She smirks.

"Yeah, I know. Even I've only seen pictures...so to speak."

He gives her another of Peter sleeping peacefully in their bed in the strange domicile at the top of the mountain.

She smiles.

"You know how to pick em, Louis."

He laughs.

"The God or the Mountain?"
