It has been a most dreadful week. Poor Lavender has been a mess as a result of an unfortunate visit to Neville's house over Christmas. The poor dear believes it is her fault, and Neville is not in much better shape. I have had a tough time in comforting. Susan of Hufflepuff appears to be doing better, but Justin Finch-Fletchley is always worthy

Don't worry, Neville. Lavender is coping with the situation to the best of her ability and will certainly be quite all right. I do believe that the two of you should discuss this . . . but perhaps not just yet. The leaves were not so generous this morning.
