1. Three weeks of school left! Hallelujah! Preschool graduation for my 4 year olds was yesterday( I know, it makes no sense considering we still have three weeks left, but whatever) and it went really, really well. Only five of my nine kids came to school today, and everyone of them said they were very glad to be done with practicing for graduation ( Read more... )

I'm very glad to hear that things are better on both fronts of the anxiety (both the stress and the doctor visit), and I hope things continue to get better.

Dang, I knew the food was going to turn out to be chocolate before I clicked on it! If I see any in our local Target I'll send them to you.

Congratulations to Ginny and Hermione! Which movie are they going to pick?

Hermione picked Hannah Montana and Ginny picked Earth. Hermione said she really liked Earth, but she "couldn't watch the animals die again". Hee. (Although, you know, sad about the animals dying.)

Evidently in Australia, Tim Tams come in a variety of flavors. Wonder if they're all dipped in chocolate??

Yep, they are all chocolate biscuits! Just some have a double coat, some have flavours on the inside layer, and there were some Tim Tam Crush flavours that would just be a layer of biscuit but the top would be more textured, so they were like peanut toffee flavoured... they are awesome.

Yum, Tim Tams! I could use a few right now!

That's wonderful news about H&G! I had dinner recently at Mellow Mushroom, or, as norwegianblue47 insists on calling it (and making me call it), Magic Mushroom. I had a turkey sandwich and it was great.

I'm glad that your stressful situation is nearly resolved and that your stress level has been lessened.

OMB, Tim-Tams! I have a Tim-Tam story...

When we were in Austria this winter, the owner of our apartment had left a pack of Tim-Tams in her cupboard, and I let the kids and The Detective eat them, thinking I'd just dash out and buy a replacement pack before we went back to Russia....

Apparently, Austria doesn't sell them either! I still feel guilty about that. Plus, they're a Pepperidge Farm product, so WHY NOT in America??? This doesn't seem right to me. In fact, it seems sort of discriminatory, like only Aussies deserve Tim-Tams. I think someone in Congress needs to hear about this.

Meanwhile, I think pharmaceutical help can be a good thing to help you get over a hump or two. Better living through chemicals, I always say!

I hope things are looking a little more serene for you in the days ahead. School ending has to help, right?
