Am I wrong to long for the days when the most exciting thing happening at school was Parvati's new hair style or catching Vicky Frobisher snogging a seventh year? Last year was bad enough with that Umbridge bint, but this one takes the cake. I've spent most of this term scared or stressed out. And I shouldn't be, right? I'm practically the school ( Read more... )

Thank you.

I don't think anything is ever going to be "normal" again.

Am I wrong to wish it though? I hate this always having to be scared and serious.

I wish it every day. I thought we could smile and relax for once at Hogsmeade, but look how that turned out. It's hard to stay positive.

I just feel very small all of a sudden. Can I come see you?

You'd be a mess too if Seamus were made into a vegetable.

Of course I would be. I wasn't being judgemental, Harry. I just wish you didn't have a reason to go about looking so wretched.

Thank you dear, for showing your faith in Divination. Unlike other subjects, it is an art, and this art requires a degree of skill, practise, and most importantly a willingness to learn. You my dear possess all of these admirable traits. Believe it or not, when I was your age, I didn't See much either, and couldn't interpret correctly what I did See.

If only some of your housemates would take a page out of your book.

Thanks for saying so, Professor Trelawney, but with only one year left of school, I need to statr thinking about what I'll do after Ileave. I can't just wait for my Inner Eye to click on.

I do love Divination, though.

It is wise of you to be thinking about your future even if you cannot See it. Come up here to my lonely abode and we will talk. Do you still take honey with your tea?

A warning, Miss Brown: Sometimes The Gift can be a terrible terrible curse.

I do too, Lav. We all do, I think. Though I don't know if I remember what normal looks like, anymore.

Oh, I remember those times - none of the boys noticed at all for at least a month after I cut it that one time, sadly. I do miss those days though...nothing was so complicated, you know? But as my Mum always says to me, I have to "grow up" one day, but I do wish it wasn't so soon because I think I like being young.

Of course Divination works! Only, some people have the Sight and some people don't, like us.

Go to the DA meetings! It's doing something, even if it's something small, and you learn useful things. Not that we don't in our other classes, of course, but you know what I mean!
