Good point.

This is why Microsoft is trying to sell Windows to government agencies and schools in Asian countries for ~$14 per license... far more attractive than the $199 we pay here in the states for a full copy.

This is why I can go online and get a DVD boxed set from Japan for a third of what I'm paying here... and you'd never notice the difference in quality.

The music industry is pedaling backwards, and they don't know how to fix it.

If I was an artist, I would invest in the best copyright protection I could get on my CD, and bundle it with an equally un-rippable DVD of hardcore, high quality, full-length pornography.

The kids would eat it up.
