I totally meant to post this earlier, but school sucks like that.

Anyway! Here is what's happening for Nightmare Psychosis AKA Mindfuck Your Muse.

It will be lasting a week and it will be starting later tonight. I'll be making a post for it of Selene collapsing. She will be drugged, because she went and got into a thing with Slade of all people, that normally causes nightmares. However, since she is incapable of dreaming for herself, it basically means while she's astral, she is totally incoherent and her powers are lashing out. The drug will also put her under, so she'll be out for a week and non-responsive to anyone because her mind isn't in.

Now what does this mean for everyone else? This means that all throughout the week, whatever nightmares she has seen will be coming to life. For it to appear in front of the person with the nightmare is easy to believe as seeing them will prompt her to probably think of what she saw of them. This can happen BOTH in the real world and in their dreams, since her powers are lashing out and she's popping in and out between the two realms.

As a side note, to those who do have her display their dreams, you're pretty much saying Selene was in their dreams at some point.

The nightmares will be nightmares. Same affect as any nightmare because illusions are reality when you're dreaming because dreams work on perception. HOWEVER, in reality, the illusions are different.

They will seem very real. Sight, smell, sound, all of this is real. If someone has a fear of fire, it will even seem hot. There is no actual physical affect though. While something seems hot, it won't cause someone to burn or collapse from heat stroke and any sweating is because of their own nerves and mind making them do so, not because it's actually hot. The illusions have no physical presence. While they might appear to be damaging things, it's only because it's more illusions and any contact with the illusions will show they are not there.

Also, the nightmares cannot appear at two far away places at the same time. If she's in town square of one of the cities, she can make multiple different illusions there. However, she cannot make an illusion in Neon and Axoryi at the same time. So, no one have nightmares appear at the same time if you aren't at the same area. Of course, they can be close together in time as the distance in the dream realm is more distorted than reality so she could be in Tetha one minute and then in Asuka the next if she goes through dreams.

There are also people this will not affect. If your character is a strong psychic who makes it a point to shield their mind at all times, unless it's the shield of wet tissue paper, she didn't get into their head. Also if you have a character whose some weird, nigh omnipotent being, there's a chance she hasn't been in their head either. Like she hasn't been in Yuuko's head because Yuuko is some powerful being that it's just a bad idea to go into their head. If you have a character whose a god that isn't all powerful, you can decided whether or not it's possible.

The illusions will also not appear on camera. Which means if you have an accidental video post? What people will see is your character freaking out, but they will not see nor hear the illusions. There needs to be an actual mind to process the illusion so while advanced AIs can process it, normal machines will not.

Also, psychics with some sort of sixth sense could see through the illusions. If they can see ghosts, they can also see Selene. She will look like Dream Weaver (greek dress, greek sandals, white mask over her face) and probably in some sort of freaking out pose as her mind is totally out of her control. Any psychic like this can feel free to see her, however, if anyone wants to interact with her while she's like this, they'll have to contact me. Otherwise, assume she vanished somewhere before they could talk to her.

Finally, the illusions will not last for longer than thirty minutes at a time. Selene isn't likely to stay that long and while the nightmares she causes can continue on because the person's mind can continue it themselves, the illusions in the real world will vanish if she leaves an area.
