((this is a pickup log for the side logs that are going on here, because it's getting hard for me to load that thread on anything besides my iPhone. Check in the comments for each respective log.))
((Pick up log for Taichi, Masaru, and Sora going off of this thread.))
Taichi grit his teeth. His attention was taken off of Masaru, and focused now on the Area Leader approaching him. His partner wasn't a "Dramon Killer" for nothing, but against an Area Leader...?
No. No doubts. He would not fail his master.
With a roar, BlackWarGreymon let loose a blast of Great Fire at Slayerdramon.
"Crimson Flare!" A voice shouted, the 'attack' itself aimed for the Great Fire that was aimed at Slayerdramon. Sora rode atop her fully evolved partner, sitting up a little straighter to get a better view of what was going on, and who was involved in this.
"Hang on," Hououmon told her partner, and Sora only nodded, holding on a bit tighter as Hououmon made her way a little closer to where everyone was. As they came closer, however, Sora's eyes were only on Taichi. She couldn't bring herself to look anywhere else.
Taichi snarled as his attack exploded between BlackWarGreymon and Slayerdramon, long before it could ever reach the Area Leader.
"Sora..." he said, jumping back up on his partner's back. "DON'T INTERFERE!"
With both their Demon Seals flaring, BlackWarGreymon launched another Gaia Force... only for Slayerdramon to swing out with his flaming sword, cutting through the attack and sending BlackWarGreymon backwards, his feet skidding and digging a trench across the ground.
Masaru growled. He'd hoped Sora showing up would have more of an effect at first... obviously, it hadn't been as initially effective as he'd hoped.
Not seeing much more in the way of options, he ran forward, Digi-Soul burning up around him. He took a flying leap at BlackWarGreymon as he flew back, fist once more flying out.
ShineGreymon, meanwhile, was still recovering from the backlash of his own attack. He was rising, unsteadily, but his vision was still unfocused. As he saw the battle resuming with BlackWarGreymon, however, he knew there wasn't much he could do about it. Not like this.
Masaru was only trying to lay down distractions. It was ALL he could do, and his body would only be able to take so much of that.
Knelt on one knee, ShineGreymon took a look into the sky and drew in a deep breath. He knew what needed to be done. He just had to focus.
To end a fight like this... they were going to need something far beyond their own power, as much as it pained him to admit it.
((Pickup log for Devimon/Bagramon vs. Chika and Takeru, which can be seen here))
Bagramon succeeded in hitting Valdurmon with Scarlet Bloodwine, but he hadn't expected Seraphimon to have another sword. So he let out a cry as his astral snakes were severed from his form along with his own left horn.
Snarling, the demon spun around, hoping to backhand Seraphimon away from him with his boney arm.
Daemon ended up taking it on the chin, quite literally, but it did nothing but force him back a bit. He turned his head towards Lagann, who'd been thrown to the ground and burnt by his fire - at this point, he was hit by Crossmon's attack, throwing him out of contact range with James.
This would likely save the man's life, because the demon threw out another Double Dust, aimed at both James and Crossmon... an attack that would have been hard to avoid at closer range. Of course, this left Daemon open to... pretty much everyone else.
Jim's dodge was clumsy, throwing all of his weight into the jump that pushed him just out of the way of the attack. Like a cannonball made of meat he went crashing througha mailbox and into a building wall leaving a dent.
Crossmon's move was graceful and delicate by comparison barrel rolling out of the way.
Ratchet slowly pushed himself back up on shaking arms, blood staining the fur around his mouth. He couldn't give up yet. Not when he had come this far. He materialized his Doom Blades, orange digisoul bursting out around it suddenly. He took aim, though the auto-target on the gun did most of the work for him. He gritted his teeth and squeezed the trigger. Blade after blade launched out at Daemon, each acid coated blade also covered in digisoul. And he wasn't going to let go of that trigger until he was hit or out of ammo.

She was quiet. Very quiet.
