"Rookie mistake~" A mocking voice called from the doorway. Fifi was leaning against the frame with a superior self satisfied smirk. "Anyone with more brains then bust could have told you that when performing body manipulation magic you have to spread your focus to the clothing as well!"

Tiffany's face fell as did her confidence but Sandy just called out, "Oh yeah? Then who told you boobs for brains?" Gottsumon laughed at the simple insult but Fifi just tut tutted, "No one asked you lab rat. The real people are talking." And with a flick of her wrist Sandy was turned into a rat that clung to the edge of the table scrambling desperately to not fall off.

"S-sandy!" Tiffany squeaked and caught her friend gently setting her on the table. "Fifi that was rude! Turn her back!"

"She kind of looks like Petey." Phascomon noted with an idle yawn.

"Change her back yourself~" Fifi sing song'd mockingly as she sauntered over to the fridge to get some juice.

"H-hold on Sandy." Tiffany focused herself again and began to undo the spell. It took only a minute or two before Sandy was sitting on the table looking utterly baffled. "I'm hungry now." She remarked and slid off the table to raid the fridge.

"Pathetic little half baked she-witch" Fifi crowed approaching Tiffany and towering over her, "Just give up now, you'll never be as powerful or amazing as the great and glorious Fifi! You have those pesky morals and things getting in the way of your potential."

It was over. She could feel her world tumbling down around her. Now they knew her weakness AND her secret shame. It wasn't enough she lacked the power to crush them at her will now they had proof.

She couldn't allow herself to be seen in this state. Couldn't return home to Shu...beautiful perfect Shu. What would Shu think of her now? A pathetic failure. Surely she would take Megera and live happily forgetting about the pathetic failure of a Witch who couldn't even best her alternate world dopple ganger with a heart condition.

Collapsing in the sand she looked up sadly to realize where she was.

The same Beach Shu and her had shared their first true moment of togetherness.

She pounded the sand with a fist and sent out a crackle of lightning that died in the ground.

After some minutes, she heard the distinct padding of feet in the sand, as Megaera - her staff on her back, her hands open, and her face similarly depressed - landed.

"H... Hey..."

A groan of despair was her only response as she buried her face in the sand further. One of the LAST people she wanted to see right now and there was no hope of escaping her.

Megaera could feel the despair, and was having a harder time trying to ignore it than she would like to admit - especially as drained as she was from the burst of darkness. Had it lasted even seconds longer, Megaera would likely have been attacking Tiffany.

As it was, she was fairly exhausted, and she knew very well Fifi was too. "Please... Let me..."
