He was doomed, yes, but Suoh wasn't going to allow him to die. Kazuma was known for not throwing punches when he was pissed, but thankfully Suoh's suggestion had actually come with a reason - give the boy a day to calm down and he was less likely to make the training total hell.

He was still upset, mostly because Nadeko was still upset. He had convinced her to come out of the closet, but it wasn't helping her embarrassment at the accidental post as much as he wanted it to. Which was why when Paulo entered he would find Kazuma at the punching bag, hitting it with all his might.

Paulo stopped in his tracks and just watched for a while. He looked pissed still and with the force he was hitting that punching bag he would already feel his ribs hurting. He was dead. So totally dead. But maybe if he stood there long enough, Kazuma wouldn't notice.

"Hello Paulo."

No dice. There was Suoh, standing right behind the feline, having kept his silence only long enough to see if his instincts were kicking in towards staying or fleeing.

Paulo's fur spiked up as he jumped and spun around quickly, his arms coming up into a defensive stance. His chest heaved as he stared at Suoh, his mind slowly connecting that he wasn't in any danger.

"S-Sensei! Don't do that!"
