It wouldn't be so simple. Not with Illyria's bet threatened by Quick's horrible mood. She needed to find her pet's tamer and knew who he was now. Though she would be surprised that they had met before, for sword practice. And so when she saw him, she knew exactly who he was.

"Incomplete being. Halt." She came straight for him. She had no weapons but her voice was commanding, true to her god-king status.

Quick jerked to a halt at the voice, coffee halfway to his mouth and giving Illyria a blank look.

"Are you talking to me?" She was coming right for him, but he didn't know why. From their bout of sword practice, he recognized her and her way of speaking, so didn't take it as a threat being called an incomplete being. "I've got somewhere I need to be."

"I am speaking to you, spark. You are endangering my pet. You threaten him to dark evolve." She walked right up to him and stopped, not really minding personal space.

"I can smell the stench of failure and stress coming off of you as the waves hit the shore. It makes my insides crawl. Why are you so consumed?"

To say Quick was taken aback by this was an understatement. He backed up to regain his personal space and fought of the urge to glare. He didn't want his emotions prodded at; why was she?

"I have enough problems without adding 'make sure to think happy thoughts all the time' to the list. He can move father away if it bothers him so much. Now I'm busy." He didn't wait for Illyria to say anything else, continuing his trek at a speedy pace while still keeping it at normal speeds to blend in.
