It appeared that Metal had set it up like an office. With filing cabinets and a desk and everything.

"Shadow!" Metal cried. "Good to see you. Here, catch."

He tossed the ninja a small E-Tank can.

Shadow blinked, as he quickly caught the can that was tossed to him. But he didn't open it.

It was a bit surprising to see the set up Metal had, although at least if things went sour he could use the environment to his advantage.

"What do you want?" Shadow asked bluntly.

"Sit down," Metal said, motioning to a chair. "Have a drink. It's on me."

He grinned beneath his faceplate. "Please... Wily-sama would want us to get along..."

"... -dono, Wily-dono." Shadow was now totally on guard, and will remain standing.

And still not drinking that drink, since Metal is being kinda creepy. At least in Shadow's opinion.
