Quatre came in the door as Haku was cleaning up the remains of the flowers and vase. He'd been in Allen's room with Mitch when he'd heard the crash. And he recognized them from the bouquet they'd found in Allen's room not too long ago.
"Ah...no, he's still asleep." He knelt down and began to help Haku clean up the broken glass, and attempted a small smile, "It did give Mitch quite the start though. He might be finally realizing that a good night's rest is in order."
"Oh, that's good... we've been trying to get him to go home for days..." Haku said, returning the smile. She tried not to think about how silent Duo was being, focusing on getting the glass off the ground before some one hurt themselves on it.
The moment Estelle found out that Duo was in the hospital, she was both relieved and worried. A part of her wanted to drop everything and rush to the hospital right when she had heard the news.
Unfortunately, she was still on the clock.
So, she impatiently waited for work to end, and as soon as she could, she changed out of her work clothing and made her way to the hospital, finding the room with some help from the nurse at the front, and poking her head inside the room upon arriving there.
Duo was asleep. Estelle wanted to let him rest. He needed it. But she still wanted to be by his side. So she pulled a chair over to his bedside and sat down.
Not even five minutes sitting there had passed before she had clasped her hands together and chanted a healing spell under her breath, a glowing light suddenly surrounding Duo as the spell started to work ...
Even Duo's normal sleep had that odd drifting feeling. There was never anything happening - just the dull sound that might have been ocean waves, and an ever drifting ceiling of clouds above him.
But this time there was something else in the dream. A warm glow, pinkish in hue that came from nowhere and everywhere at once. Even when he had finally woken up, there was an ache all over his body that he couldn't shake, but that too was fading.
His eyes opened, but he didn't move. Some how he just knew who was there at his side.

"Duo...I'm glad to see you awake."

The Vocaloid, however, looked up from the mess with the same worried frown she'd been wearing for days.
"Sorry for all the noise, Quatre... I hope we didn't wake Allen up."
