Jinx had been pretty relaxed today. A nice slow evening. She could close up in time for dinner with the family...

...or not.

Her eyes went wide in surprise and then she moaned in annoyance, "It would be my luck you'd show up early to Friday the 13th wouldn't it?" She complained giving him a poisonous look. She had hoped the day would never come that the scarlet haired speedster would arrive in the digital world.

...well, not this age anyway. An older him had come and gone.

Kid Flash smiled and walked towards Jinx, and actually walked at a normal speed.

"Well, glad to see you too. Nice to know you missed me." The door behind him opened and a White Chessmon walked in and moved beside the "hero."

"Yeah like a toothache." Jinx sighed and braced herself for having to admit to him that she'd switched sides in the end after all. According to Beastboy the Jinx from his world was dating Kid Flash. This thought alone made Jinx long for a bracingly stiff drink.

"Is he with you?" She nodded to the digimon. If he wasn't then she'd serve him before wasting time "catching up" with Kid Flash.

Kid Flash nodded with a smile. She still had a quick wit.

"He is. This is my partner apparently. A bit slow for my taste. So, a successful business woman huh? How does that feel?"
