Who: BlackV-mon, Daigo, Greg, Dr. Finitevus (later), partners? What: Rewind, I want to go it again. When: January 26, 2011. Late afternoon Where: Neon City Streets
Daigo was quick to respond to the request for a meeting. Black may have asked for it to be just him and Greg, but Daigo wasn't stupid. Even if Black was being honest, the people that he associated with were not to be underestimated. There hadn't been time to prepare an observation team, but just the same, Daigo had altered DATS to what was going on and where it was going on.
He and Greg would go in alone, but they weren't going in without backup. Whoever Vent would send after them would be hot on their heels and ready for any trouble that might crop up. Daigo was certain he could handle anything thrown at him, but he wasn't keen on being stupid either.
When he arrived, the crowd parted before him. Though he was one of the good guys, he was still known throughout the digital world as a Dark Area slaver, one of the team of tamers who took down an ultimate digimon with a vastly inferior force, and a man who was not to be crossed. If Black had hoped to be inconspicuous, his presence was going to thwart that...
Greg made a face at the figurative "parting of the sea" that happened when he walked with Diago. The larger man stood out like a sore thumb, and Greg just looked small and annoyed next to him. This was not how he was planning on going in.
He kept his mouth shut, though, following Diago with his hands in his pockets, CSI windbreaker on and his pistol tucked at his back, ready to be grabbed at a moment's notice. Goma wasn't with him, but had hung back to grab whoever came as their backup and guide them to where the two men had gone.
Once Black saw the two and confirmed he couldn't see any other DATS agents, or at least agents he knew of, he exited the building and walked towards the two men. Once he was several feet away, he lowered his hood and nodded to them. He wanted to try and smile but this was not the time for it. His face was serious and his eyes set on the two. He had to go through with this now, there was no way around it.
"I'm glad you came. Thank you...both of you. We don't have much time. I don't know how long I can be gone and they won't notice. I...I have a lot to tell you."
"It was hardly an invitation we could refuse," Daigo observed, surveying the area warily. "We should go to DATS immediately. This area is far too insecure."
BlackGaomon had stayed a short distance away, though he had little intention of helping to direct the backup. He just wanted to be out of sight to land a sucker-punch on anyone who happened to show up uninvited.
