Terui Ryuu stayed back a little ways from Mikuru with Gaomon. Both kept quiet, but watchful. He was fully willing to let Mikuru see if there was any way to get him to come in peacefully... but, at the same time, from what he'd been reading, he wasn't entirely confident in that as how it would end up ( ... )

Further back from both Mikuru and Terui was Guy, him and Flamon trying their best to blend in. It was hard as it was to hide in due to how they were and was certain they would be spotted if they didn't watch their backs.

As it stood, this was Mikuru's game, they were there to make sure things didn't go completely south.

Which was probably likely.

Isn't it a good thing then that Crash has no clue what is going on? Or at least that's what it seems like as the robot turns a nearby corner which puts him right into Mikuru and the other DATS agents paths.

"Oh shush." He wasn't in his armor, wearing an orange hoodie and jeans, as he's talking to the oddly colored Pinamon that's nestled in the hood of his top. Completely clueless as to what is going to come up.

Mikuru took a deep breath, steeled herself, and walked forward.

"Crash-kun," she said, getting in the robot's path. "Crash-kun... I'm going to have to ask you to come with us..."

Mikuru didn't say anything. Instead, she took this as an excuse to try and exploit the fact that Crash was writing her off.

In a flash, her partner evolved into Giromon, Mikuru's emotions giving him the foresight to anticipate her desires and toss one of his explosive mines at Crash while he was focusing on Ryuu - though the charge he put into the attack was lower than normal, as not to destroy his target.

Accel was already moving to the side, but swung out his Engine Blade for good measure to try and swat the oncoming drill away. Even though he could now swing it as without any effort, that still didn't change the fact the sword carried a tremendous weight.

Once clear, he flipped open the sword, revealing an open slot in it. "I don't plan on drawing this out," Accel said, pulling out a gray Gaia Memory and jamming it into the slot before snapping the blade's casing back closed.

[ENGINE!]

[STEAM!]

He swung the Engine Blade down, unleashing a massive burst of scalding steam on Crash's direction. He wasn't expecting this to much HURT the robot master... but mask his presence for a moment or two? That was another thing entirely.

"Oh, just cram it, you yapping walking pile of scrap!" ArdhaFighMon shouted. "I'm tired of this and I'm tired of you!" With that, a ring of fire ignited in front of him as he thrusted his fist forward into it, launching a massive fist-shaped fireball at the robot. "BRAHMA PHANTOM!"

That drill Accel smacked away? Exploded as soon as the Engine Blade made contact with it, the debris and dust from that just adding to the steam and not really bothering Crash. And it won't be bugging Gotsu as Crash grabbed his partner and tossed her up into the air, with a squawk from the Hawkmon as she tried to keep herself airborne, before he...

Started to skip backwards, pretty much making it so the attack from Giromon AND Guy's partner will wiff. And hey if Crash is lucky they'll hit the Kamen Rider too, bonus.

"So much for the good guys being good, eh?"
