"He wouldn't be the first one. Especially here."

Sitting at the end of Sokka's bed, staring at him, was something possibly scarier than seeing a large talking bird for the first time.

Gregory House. Smiling.

"I usually make it a habit to AVOID my patient's rooms as much as possible, but it's always so fun to see newbies wake up for the first time. You're not disappointing me, I'll give you that."

Meanwhile, leaning against the door frame, was Zuko... pinching the bridge of his nose.

Flamon thought it was funny as hell.

Zuko just sighed, and lowered his hand.

"I apologize in advance. This was the first doctor I could find."

Sokka just about jumped out of his skin at the other voice, latching on to the back bedframe to keep from falling off but refusing to go anywhere near Hawky.

"Who are you and what did you do with my girlfriend?!" he demanded accusingly, pointing a finger at the man.

That lasted all of three seconds, which was about how long it took for him to realize Zuko was even there.

"... Zuko?" he muttered, arm falling back down and expression going from angry to completely, utterly befuddled.

"... okay. What's going on? I am so confused..."

"All this yelling..." another voice sighed from behind Zuko. A little awkward maneuvering, and Ana came around through the door, wobbling a little awkwardly on the new arm-brace canes she was using. She would have rather been in her chair, but they were trying to encourage her to regain her muscles by walking more.

"I really wish you wouldn't torment the new arrivals, Doctor House. He's been through enough, don't you think?"

Smiling, she turned her attention to Sokka, but was getting little more than a shocked-confused-too stunned to speak look in return.

"It's okay. No one's going to hurt you here, even if Doctor House does like a big jerk."
