Greg had managed to get off work a few minutes early, but of course it didn't keep him from being late. It seemed if it wasn't work related, Greg couldn't be on time to save his life...

Toting a laptop in a bag over his shoulder, Gomamon on his other shoulder, he headed in to the bar, waving to Sara with a big dopey grin.

"Yo."

"Something exciting happen at work today, or something?" She asked, raising an eyebrow at her friend's expression. While a smile was normal for him, the big one he had right now was somewhat abnormal. She was distracted for a moment by her partner climbing up on her back and grabbing at the glass of water in front of her.

She turned serious after that. "You didn't tell me that this place brings people back from the dead."

"Nah, not really. Just got some extra work to do at home," he said, setting the laptop bag down on the counter and taking a seat.

"And it does. Sometimes. But really actually hoping for something like that... trust me, it doesn't happen often enough."

"Be careful. Don't want you to turn out like me." It was said with a light tone, but the worry was still there. Greg really didn't need to become a workaholic.

"It was a shock...to say the least..."
