Kagura Tsukasa was not a happy man. Oh, no, that should have been QUITE obvious... He had been upstaged. Even just a simple plan of assassination had been undone by the simple fact he had no way to know... THAT would happen.
That infuriating woman... if he'd known what she'd been hiding, if he'd been able to factor it into his plans...
And his partner, that worthless - yet loyal - creature had been regressed into her Baby 2 Level. It'd be WEEKS before she was in fighting form again...
But he wasn't helpless, at least. He had power. His other plans could still come to fruition... destroying that woman had only been a personal endeavor. He couldn't, he WOULDN'T let that failure detract from the grander scheme of things...
Here and now, however, he was facing something else. For weeks since the "hit list" had run its course, he had been keeping away from his Syndicate "comrades."
But after a lot of prodding, Eggman had finally convinced him to show himself and talk. Having nothing, at that moment, better to do, he agreed to it.
He smirked silently to himself, looking out over the mountain cliff he stood on. It wasn't like he had anything to fear from that blithering mad scientist. Tsukasa wielded more power than that man could possibly IMAGINE...
Or at least, so he believed.
