... she didn't quite know where she was with Signum yet...
Still, she happily went about collecting plants. Meanwhile, Renamon kept an open eye out, watching for any danger.

She figured it probably was better that way. She'd never wish remembering what they did under Lillithmon's control on anyone. Just one retaining those memories was enough...
When requested to come along, Signum happily obliged. She saw herself with no right setting foot in Neon City in any casual manner that was outside DATS business. She wasn't especially welcome in Tetha (but most Tamers WEREN'T.) So, any chance to get out of Royal Base was a welcome one...
Smiling a bit at Kat's enthusiasm, she set about collecting. It may have been mundane, but it could have been much worse.

"You know, I'll keep talking until I get one of you to say something," she teased playfully. "I've got the lungs to do it."
She knew that both of them weren't nearly as chatty as she was, but by all the gods there were, she could at least try.

The Protect barrier flashed up, just as soon as Renamon became conscious. And a moment later, a dashing, robed fox priest was joining Kat and Leomon in their assault, swinging a massive brush at Tsukasa's head.

Signum growled, pushing herself up onto her feet, loading another cartridge.
{SCHLAGENFORM!}
"Focus with me, now..." Signum said, a burst of pink light erupting around the sword as it broke apart into a bladed whip. "HIRYUU...!"
She brought it back, magical energy and Digi-Soul surging down the length of the whip.
Activating her own protect barrier on top of Yuma's, she swung the whip, and it darted out around the barriers and at BioHolyAngemon.
"ISSEN!"

BioHolyAngemon motioned to Youkomon, who took position BEHIND him.
Dark light surged around at four points around him, before he swept an arm out.
"SOUL BANISH!" he roared, and those four lights surged off in fairly powerful streams of energy. One aimed at the Hiryuu Issen, one aimed at Kat, one aimed at GrappLeomon's attack, and another at Taomon. Wolfmon's attack wasn't even strong enough for him to be very concerned.
Needless to say...
There was a rather large explosion following this.

It was all she could really do; her left arm was all but blown off, dangling uselessly from her shoulder, a gaping hole blown through her flesh with bone exposed to the open air. Tears streamed down her face as she kept flying, whirling around only after she'd passed Tsukasa.
"You're going to have to do better than that!" she screamed, her voice laced with agony.
GrappLeomon was too busy trying to recover from the blast and see through the smoke to launch another attack. But just the same, he charged towards Tsukasa, not willing to let his mistress fight alone.

"Hey!" GrappLeomon yelled, sprinting across the field. "You forgetting someone?!"
He launched another flurry of kicks when he saw that the range between them was too great. Another cyclone whipped up and went streaking across the battlefield towards Doumon.
Reply
Frankly, a digi-soul empowered, fast-moving Yuma, who leaped up at Doumon with a maddened look in her eye, shrieking as she threw a punch at the dark fox's face.

"Come back in another thousand years!" she taunted, flinging barbs of energy from her tail after him as he retreated. "Any sooner, and I'll REALLY show you what these tentacles can do!"

When she transformed back to her winged, human body this time, there was no light show. One second, there was the Nova form, and the next she was simply Katherine once more. But she wasn't done yet.
"I'll explain everything," she said, flying over to Signum. "Just... I need to take care of you both first."
She held her hands out to Signum, green energy pulsing from her palms and surrounding Signum. It was a cosmic sort of thing. Silver Fury was using the ambient energy in the air to restore the natural flow of energy within Signum's own body; easing her pain and revitalizing her.

He looked more concerned with her well-being than anything else, and he reached out to steady her.

She raised her hands and covered GrappLeomon's wrist, sending another pulse of energy through him. She glanced to Yuma again, then, and she frowned. "I didn't want to keep this a secret from you," she said quickly. "It's... I told you, there are dangers to who I am. And I need to keep my identities seperate to keep everyone safe... And honestly, I wasn't able to do this when I got here. I thought the digital world took this from me, sealed this part of me away..."
