Quatre had decided to take the day to wander around. Duo was working, and it seemed like the most interesting thing going on was the celebration of an old Earth holiday that he'd only experienced as an onlooker. Saghid padded along next to him, yawning in boredom. It wasn't too bad of a day to spend out and about, maybe a bit windy, but he could handle that.

Stopping to glance at something in a shop window, he spied the reflection of someone in dark clothing. Everything about the person screamed suspicion, but the first feelings he read were of confusion, almost fear?

He turned to face the person as they passed him, "Are you alright?"

Veronica gave a start, she had been so worried about Fran that she hadn't noticed this new person. She scowled a dark "Run away now" sort of look "I'm fine, get lost."

Quatre didn't back off, instead he held out his hand and smiled the patented Winner smile. "I'm Quatre...I'm new around here, but if you ever do need something..."

Sighid couldn't believe the boy's stupidity, hadn't the girl just told them to scram!? No wonder he was stuck with this poor excuse for a tamer.

Her fingers felt the knife in her hand, how easy would it be to teach him a lesson about talking to strangers?

But no...no she wouldn't maim someone without a good reason and her code insisted if she get into a fight with someone she give them the honor of a swift death. This was not the kind of stupidity that required that.

Instead she tried to move past him and focused all her anger into putting out cold as ice waves of "Go away"
