Duo was practically draped over a counter towards the back. It had been a painfully slow day. Slower still because Dani wasn't on shift with him, meaning he was pretty much there alone. Jinx had been in and out a few times, but having been there as long as he had he was more than capable of closing by himself, which meant he was left to his own devices.

If he hadn't been so damn bored that might have actually been a bad thing.

Sighing, he heard the door's entrance bell go off, but didn't bother looking up, giving a half-attentive wave and a muttered greeting.

"Seat yourself. I'll be there in a minute."

Quatre smirked and walked up to his friend, leaning his elbows on the counter. "You know, you could have my job, then you'd never been this bored."

Duo sat up with a start, breaking in to an ear to ear grin as he practically threw himself over the counter to hug Quatre.

"QBEAN! The hell took you so long?!"

"Uft! Hey," Quatre hugged Duo back and grinned. Even though they'd stayed in touch, they hadn't had a lot of opportunities to see each other. "Walking across a desert isn't the easiest thing to do Duo. Its not like in those old movies we used to watch."
